Safe Removal Guide for Press-On Nails
One of the biggest advantages of press-on nails is that they do not damage your natural nails—but only if you remove them correctly. Follow this gentle removal guide to keep your nails healthy.
Method 1: Warm Water and Soap (For Adhesive Tabs)
If you used adhesive tabs, removal is simple. Soak your hands in warm, soapy water for 10-15 minutes. The adhesive will loosen naturally. Gently wiggle the press-on nail from the sides—it should slide off easily. Perfect for reusable nails like our Noria Nails press-on sets.
Method 2: Acetone Bath (For Nail Glue)
If you used nail glue, fill a small bowl with warm water and add a few drops of acetone-based nail polish remover. Soak your nails for 10-15 minutes until the glue softens. Use a cuticle stick to gently lift the nail from the side.
What NOT to Do
- Never pry or force the nail off—this can peel your natural nail layers
- Do not bite the nails off
- Avoid using metal tools to scrape underneath
After Removal Care
- Gently buff any residue from your natural nails
- Apply cuticle oil to nourish your nail beds
- Wait 24 hours before applying a new set
- Store your removed nails in a case for future use
